Terms of Service

These terms explain what we do, what a quote means, and what you can expect when you call us. Please read them before you book a visit.

What We Do

DeSoto Drywall Pros repairs water damaged drywall in DeSoto, TX and nearby cities within about 25 km. Our work covers wet drywall removal and replacement, ceiling water damage repair, flood-cut repair, drying and moisture detection, repair after a pipe or roof leak, texture matching and paint-ready finishing, mold prevention during repair, and help with insurance documentation.

We do not do plumbing, roofing, general remodeling, or full home renovation. If the leak is still running, it must be fixed by a plumber or roofer before drywall work can be finished. We will tell you that on the call. We also do not provide mold remediation as a separate service. Mold prevention in our work means the steps taken during a drywall repair: remove wet board, dry the cavity, and treat the exposed framing.

Quotes Are Estimates Until We See the Damage

Any price we give on the phone, or any price range shown on this site, is an estimate. The typical U.S. ranges on our homepage — for example, $150 to $400 for a stain-only repair, $350 to $1,500 for a partial drywall replacement, and $1,000 to $3,000 or more for a full ceiling replacement — are guides, not a quote for your home.

Your exact price depends on what we find on site: how big the wet area really is, whether it is a wall or a ceiling, what texture the wall has, whether insulation is wet, and whether mold is involved. Drywall wicks water upward and sideways, so the wet area is almost always bigger than the stain you can see. We give you an exact price after we have inspected and measured the damage.

24/7 Means We Answer the Call

We answer the phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. That means we will take your call and talk through what happened at any hour. It is not a promise that a crew will arrive at a specific time, and it is not a promise of same-day service. Arrival time depends on where you are, how bad the damage is, and what other emergency calls we have. We will give you a realistic time on the call, and we will tell you if it changes.

What the Repair Includes — And What It Does Not

A drywall repair includes removing the wet board, drying the cavity, hanging new drywall, taping and mudding the seams, sanding, matching the texture, and priming the surface so it is ready for paint. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, the final coat of paint is not included. Furniture moving, cleaning beyond the work area, and repairs to anything outside the drywall scope — such as flooring, cabinets, or plumbing — are not included unless we agree them with you first.

We will protect the work area with drop cloths and clean up the debris from our work. We cannot promise that dust will not reach other parts of the room, and we cannot promise an exact match on paint color unless you provide the paint or the color code.

Insurance Help Is Documentation Only

We can help with your insurance claim by documenting the damage: photos, moisture readings, and a record of what was removed, dried, and replaced. That is documentation only. We cannot promise that your insurer will cover the repair, and we cannot promise how much they will pay. Coverage depends on your policy, on what caused the damage, and on your insurer's decision. Sudden events, such as a burst pipe, are often covered. Slow leaks and long-term damage often are not. Check your policy and talk to your insurer early.

Your Responsibilities

Please tell us honestly what happened, where the water came from, and what you have already done — for example, if you already cut the wall open or painted over the stain. Please make sure we can get to the damaged area, and keep children and pets away from the work area while we are cutting and drying. If you are a tenant, please make sure the property owner knows about the damage and the repair before we start.
